The first two editions of "The Titan" yearbook had been published in 1970 and 1971. After a one-year break, the yearbook had re-emerged in 1973 with a new title, "IUSB Review," and a new format as a magazine-yearbook hybrid with more of a focus on journalistic stories about the campus and the community. After the 1973 edition of "IUSB Review," the yearbook took a seven-year break before re-emerging with this 1981 edition, once again called "The Titan."
