The second edition of "The Titan," the original iteration of the Indiana University at South Bend yearbook. After many years as a non-degree-granting regional campus for Indiana University Bloomington, the university had awarded degrees to its first graduating class a few years earlier, in 1967. The first edition of "The Titan" yearbook had been published the previous year, in 1970. After a one-year break, the IUSB yearbook would re-emerge in 1973 with a new title, "IUSB Review," and a new format as a magazine-yearbook hybrid with more of a focus on journalistic stories about the campus and the community. After the 1973 and 1974 editions of "IUSB Review," the yearbook would take a seven-year break before briefly returning in 1981, once again titled "The Titan." The IUSB yearbook would cease publication after the 1981 issue. |
