Hengesbach, Ph.D., Director of General Studies Degree Program at IU South Bend, for use in the Independent Study Program in the Indiana University School of Continuing Studies. The handbook is designed to help students prepare a prior learning portfolio in order to obtain college credit for education they may have received outside of an academic institution. The book is composed of two parts: the first contains basic information about a prior learning portfolio, and the second teaches the student how to assemble one, and includes worksheets and sample portfolios.en_US
