Abstract

Fall 2000 issue of Vision Magazine, the publication of the IU South Bend Alumni Association. Contents include feature on the IUSB Alumni Scholarship Program and recipients; announcement of the departure of Gail Mancini, who had been editor of Vision Magazine since 1996, from the university; campus news; cover story about history of the land across the river from IUSB, which had once been an amusement park called Playland Park, and had recently been acquired by the university with early plans to build recreational facilities (it would go on to become the site of student housing); update on construction of the new Student Activities Center; alumni profiles; and photos from Spring 2000 commencement.
